I see from the council minutes that the theives are about again, there was a tractor stolen last month, keep your outbuildings locked. (see council minutes on the council page)

We continue to look for old pictures of the village to add to our current collection so if you come across any, we would be grateful for copies.
As always we have the agenda for the next parish council meeting and an archive going back many years now of the meeting minutes.

John Westwood has researched everyone on the Stock and many other local war memorials, a couple of weeks back someone sent a great deal of history for one of those listed.
It seems that the Indian takeaway, formerly the Fish and Chip shop has had to close because the landlords want to rebuild it. This has been a takeaway ever since I can remember.
It’s so sad to see the village setting change so much as it has in the last few years.
