I suggest Google for later productions
The WI before the Second World War originally founded the Group but it became known as Stock Drama Group with its own identity shortly after the War. Since then it has gained a reputation as one of the leading Groups in the area and indeed recently merged with another Drama Company from Billericay thereby extending its membership and following and securing its success for the future.
Stock Drama Group puts on two productions a year in the Village Hall, one in May the other in November. The group consists of about 40 active members; ages range from early twenties to retirement. We provide a number of social activities throughout the year as well as involving ourselves in Festival competitions.
With so many amateur companies disappearing in this day and age it is indeed refreshing to come across a Drama Group with so much to look forward to in the coming years.
