The Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary
|
| The Remus Horse Sanctuary opens its
gates for the last time this year before closing for the winter months. |
| The Sanctuary was formed in 1983 and
provides care for horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs and cows who are
victims of physical and mental abuse, be it as a result of ignorance or
malicious intent. |
| Members of the public are invited along
from 1 - 5pm on Sunday to visit the Sanctuary and meet the animals and
see the work that we do. There will also be various fund raising stalls,
refreshments, games etc. There will be a display at 2.30 of some of the rescued
animals and also a dog agility fun course. |
| Come along and stock up
on Christmas cards, puddings and gifts and help the animals at the same
time. |
| Sanctuary Founder Sue Burton said "The
last Open Day is a chance for us to raise much needed funds for the winter
months to help feed and care for the many animals at the Sanctuary". |
