The course will teach you everything you need to know to practise yoga safety and to be comfortable and confident enough to practise yoga at home and in general yoga classes. In addition the course will cover topics that will give you a deeper understanding of yoga and will help you to embrace the practise that will allow you to a receive the maximum benefits.
This small group setting will create a relaxed and informal environment where you can feel free to ask questions and move at a pace suitable for you.
Topics covered in the course include how to practise safely, what to expect in a class, history and philosophy of yoga including different styles and teachings, the benefits of yoga, relaxation, meditation, prana or life force energy and its role in the yoga and how to get the most out of your practise
You will also receive a relaxation CD and Yoga information pack
