.Frank Henry Sawyer made it through the war, but died of wounds 6th March 1919 and was buried in St Margaret's Churchyard, Margaretting grave ref 98 in the South West corner.
He was born in Ingatestone, lived in Margaretting, and enlisted in Chelmsford orginally in the Essex Yeomanry (number 2700) he later transferred to the 1st Batt Essex Regt as a private (number 34198).
