James Nicholson

James Nicholson may have nothing to do with Mountnessing he came from Liverpool yet he is buried in St Giles churchyard. He was a private with the Loyal North Lancashire Regt 11th Battn and he died 8th August 1915 aged 27. According to Soldiers Died in the Great War however he died at home in 1918.
He was the son of John and Mary Nicholson, 45 Gomer St, Soho, Liverpool.
