Welcome to the 1st Stock Scouts website. We are, we believe, a unique Group in that we have three sponsors. The are the three churches in Stock, and you can find out more about them through the Stock Village website. We have recently discovered that our Group has been in existence at least since 1911, and has been sponsored by various organisations during it's history. Our village historian is currently researching to see if we can discover more. If you think you might have some information, please let us know.

Of course, when we started, only boys were allowed, but now we are open to boys and girls from the age of 6 years, right through to 14 when they may join Explorers, and from there at the age of 18 move onto Network. We offer a varied, balanced and adventurous programme with camping high on our agenda. In the last year we have abseiled, canoed, made things, been to campfires, visited places, and lots of other things too. Most of all we have had lots of fun!! We visit our sponsors to parade, and also parade through the District on St George's Day and through the village with the Royal British Legion on Remembrance Day.
