| Once again Stock Village stages its annual charity event to raise finds for deserving causes |
|||
| This years event will support Macmillan's Nurses Cancer and other local causes |
Sunday, September 8th 2002 at Weavers field in Stock opposite the windmill. |
||
|---|---|---|---|
| There is betting on the tote, bars,
BBQ and plenty of sideshows - a great day guaranteed, and a big crowd is expected. |
The gates open at 1.00pm and the first race, featuring Hunt's famous Racing Donkeys, is at approx. 2.00pm. | ||
| More jockeys are required - so if you are below 7 stone (45kg) bring a hard hat along and join in! | Entrance: £1.00 on the gate | ||
| Last year's Donkey Derby, despite heavy rain on the day, raised almost £1500 for the Macmillan Nurses Fund and The Farleigh Hospice | Anyone wishing to support the day by
advertising or race and donkey sponsorship should contact Terry Wilson of the
Cricket Club on 840437 or E-Mail |
